Se utilizaron simulaciones por elementos finitos para estudiar los cambios en la cinemática de un modelo de cuerpo humano durante impactos frontales en diferentes posiciones de asiento reclinadas. Los cambios en los ángulos del asiento afectaron el movimiento de la pelvis y la columna vertebral, destacando la necesidad de evaluar la seguridad de los ocupantes en los vehículos del futuro.


English layman's summary:

Finite element simulations were used to study changes in human body model kinematics during frontal impacts in different reclined seating positions. Changes in seat angles affected pelvis and spine motion, highlighting the need to evaluate occupant safety in future vehicles.
